To get an Ames Free Library card, you will need to come to the library with a form of identification; this could be a school ID, proof of residence, driver's licence or piece of mail with your name and address.

If you are under the age of 13, you will need to have your parent sign your application form.  Children may get their own library card when they are able to print their first and last names.

Cards will be held on file for two weeks before being removed. Please call the library if there is a chance that it may take you longer than two weeks to claim your card.
