SPRINGTIME IS GARDENING TIME

Springtime and gardening are almost synonymous. From planting seedlings, planning your garden, or keeping and maintaining a healthy lawn, we have materials to help you at the library:

Nature-Friendly Garden: Creating a Backyard Haven for Plants, Wildlife, and People: A book about the benefits of gardening, and living in harmony with nature.

Beginner's Guide to Gardening: Creating a Beautiful Yard from the Ground Up. With this book, the novice gardener can build confidence by focusing on basic principles and learning what plants need and how to build good soil. Also learn to maintain a lawn and to control garden pests.

100 Garden Tips and Timesavers. An A to Z handbook for saving money, time, and resources that offers clever shortcuts for all your indoor and outdoor gardening chores.

New Complete Home Landscaping is an updated, expanded edition of Creative Homeowner's award-winning comprehensive book on landscaping for the home. It covers every aspect of home landscaping, from design principles to construction projects; plant selection to plant care.

INTRODUCING THE EVENTKEEPER CALENDAR OF EVENTS
All the Library events, just a click away...

EventKeeper is an online, web-based event calendar that enables us to add and update library happenings on a regular basis. Just click the EventKeeper link from the library’s website to find summer activities for kids and other important dates.

The calendar program is brought to us by the same company that provides TixKeeper, the link you can use to reserve museum passes and the Massachusetts State Parkspass.

Thanks for reading our newsletter. If there are events or services you would like to see profiled in the future, email or stop by and let us know. If you would like to be subscribed, we'd appreciate having you onboard. Contact us at info@amesfreelibrary.org

Sincerely,

Staff of the Library
