National
Women's History Month Celebrating
American Women
Each March is a celebration of the accomplishments
of women throughout American history.
Links
The
National Women's History Project (NWHP) recognizes
and celebrates the diverse and historic accomplishments
of women by providing information, educational
materials and programs.
History.com
is affiliated with the A&E televison channel,
and currently includes a feature in honor of Women's
History Month.
In 1969, a group of women and men of Seneca Falls
created the National
Women's Hall of Fame, believing that the contribution
of American women deserved a permanent home in
the small village where it all began.
