Terri Libenson is a comic-strip cartoonist turned middle grade author. Ms. Libenson’s graphic novels are perfect back-to-school reads! Each book features a girl facing a particular challenge at school. These lighthearted books feature friendships, school and extracurricular challenges, and the dreaded social drama that comes with middle school! In other words… just a normal week at school! 

Invisible EmmiePositively IzzyJust Jamie, and the newly released Becoming Brianna all featured girls in the same school. The characters overlap in this “Emmy & Friends” series, but there is no particular order for reading them. You can find all of these books in the Graphic Novel section in Youth Services.
