Queset Garden Music Series 2017: QUARTET AMERUS

Due to the weather, this program has been moved to the 1st Floor Presentation Commons in Queset House.

Get transported to a kinder, gentler age with the arresting music of Quartet Amerus, a classical string quartet made up of:

  • Michael Korn (violin): appeared as a soloist with the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra and given worldwide performances.
  • Beth Nussbaum (violin): performed chamber and orchestral music extensively throughout America and Europe as a Tanglewood Fellow.
  • Alexey Shabalin (violin): Professor of Music at Rhode Island College, founder of RI Youth Soloists and Artist-Director of the RI Youth Philharmonic Orchestra.
  • Cynthia Forbes (cello): teaches and performs as a soloist/principal with New England area colleagues.
Bring a picnic, rugs/chairs and enjoy your very own Tanglewood-like experience in the heart of Easton!

Free and open to all.
