A Day in the Life of a Special Forces Medic in Afghanistan

Kevin Paicos began his career in Special Forces on Feb. 6, 1972 until his retirement on Oct. 31, 2014, conducting special operations as a Captain “A Team” Leader, a Special Forces Combat Medic, a parachutist, sniper and combat scuba diver.

This riveting presentation will be about the shadowy world of the US military’s special operations across the span of four decades, culminating with Mr. Paicos’ deployment to Afghanistan in 2007-08 as part of the US war on terror.  He will discuss the process of becoming a Green Beret, his deployment to Afghanistan, and his four decades of combat serving at the “Tip of the Spear”.

Free and open to all.
