DNA & Genealogy for Beginners

Have you just gotten your results back from Ancestry DNA (or other site) and not sure where to begin?

Chris Delano is available on Tuesday afternoons to help you get started on the library’s ancestry.com program to begin searching for your ancestors, or to help you understand the basic concepts of DNA testing and its use in genealogical research.  Chris is an amateur genealogist who has used DNA as well as genealogical records to find biological parents from a birth 100 years ago.  If you are curious make an appointment with Chris to review your test and help you get started on a new genealogical adventure.

Be sure to bring your laptop or tablet with wifi, and your user name and password to access your DNA results.

Please schedule your session online HERE, or call 508-238-2000, ext. 3.
