Current hours: Monday - Wednesday & Friday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

  • Visits are limited to a maximum of 45 minutes per person.
  • Total occupancy in the building is limited to 10 visitors at any given time, so short waits outside may be necessary.

Hourly Holiday Storytimes

The Ames Free Library joins

EASTON'S HOLIDAY FESTIVAL

On Saturday, December 7 between 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., stop by the Children's Room at the main library building for hourly holiday storytimes! Each hour, we'll be reading stories from around the world that feature winter, Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa.

Also be sure to pick up your Build a Snowman Scavenger Hunt pieces, anytime between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.!
