Carry the Christmas spirit with you beyond the Rockery lighting! On Saturday, December 2 at 5:30 PM, get cozy in the warmth of the Ames Free Library's Barrel Vault Room to hear Charles Dickens' classic tale, A Christmas Carol, read aloud in its entirety by library staff. The reading will take approximately two and a half hours. All are welcome! Come for the whole story, or drop in for a taste.
This event is part of the Lions Holiday Festival celebration. Guests may bring in food from the Festival (don't forget the napkins!). Spiced cider and hot chocolate will be available for free. The event is free; donations welcome!
