Correspondence Club

Experience the joy of snail mail with our monthly Correspondence Club! At each meeting, children will compose a letter to a recipient of their choosing, responding to a themed writing prompt presented by Miss Alyisha. We’ll have special stationery, writing utensils, stamps, and stickers for kids to bling-out their missives! JK Growling, our bear-y cute Youth Services mascot, is always happy to receive letters – and she’ll always write back! Leave your letter behind for us to stick in the mail (if an address is provided), take it with you to mail later, or drop it in our in-room mailbox (if addressed to JK)!

This program is designed for children 8+, who can read and write independently. No registration is required and drop-ins are encouraged. Meetings take place on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 4:00-4:45pm in the Children’s Room at the Main Library.

Through the end of the year, dates for Correspondence Club are:
Thursday, September 8th
Thursday, October 13th
Thursday, November 10th
Thursday, December 8th
