Kick off Banned Books Week and celebrate the freedom to read at the Ames Free Library!
Pull up one of our lawn chairs (or bring your own) and participate in this statewide read-in. Grab a book from the library, the Friends of the Library Book Sale Room, or off of your own shelves at home and join your fellow readers. In the event of inclement weather, our read-in will move inside Queset House.
Can't join us in person? Read-in wherever you are and post on social media with #LetFreedomRead.
