Ames Free Library

"Where the Community Connects"

Teen Advisory Board

Are you between the ages of 12 and 18? Looking to have a say in what happens at your public library? Hoping to earn some community service or volunteer hours?

Well, look no further than Ames Free Library's Teen Advisory Board (or TAB)! TAB is a place for teens who want to be leaders in their community to make a difference at the library.

We meet at 3:30pm on the 3rd Monday of every month to:

  • Complete service activities if the library is in need!
  • Have fun with local teens!
  • Discuss new things you'd like to see at the library!

You can earn one service/volunteer hour for attending meetings when we complete activties that help the library.

Email to learn more. We hope to see you at our next TAB meeting!
