Michelle’s artwork cannot be categorized into any one style. She has painted in techniques ranging from photorealism and abstract to primitive/American folk, and in mediums such as watercolor, gouache, acrylics and pencil.
The subject of her artwork can range from portraits, scenery, abstracts, architecture or still life. The paintings on display this month were all done in acrylic paint.
Michelle grew up in Easton and has worked at the Ames Free Library for more than twenty-four years.
