Hey, have you heard the good news??! The library’s not open yet… but you can check out books to keep your at-home storytime and learning fun going! We all need to follow a few rules to make it work properly; this explains the procedure for Contactless Curbside Pickup.
The short of it is – if you find a book in the catalog that is currently available at the Ames Free Library, you can put a hold on it, and once we locate the item on-shelf, we will contact you to set up a pickup time. That’s it!
We’re not quite ready to accept your books back yet, though, so hang on to anything you’ve got checked out right now. Nothing is due back before July 9, so you can enjoy your old and new checkouts a little bit longer! Keep checking in on our main page for the latest checkout, return, and future opening information.
