The Friends of the Ames Free Library is a nonprofit organization integral to promoting and supporting Library activities and programs, and purchasing items not included in the Library’s budget. We hold book sales several times a year, manage the Friends Book Shop at Queset House, and participate in other Library-related events.
BLIND DATE WITH A BOOK
Need a gift idea for Valentine's Day? Make a Blind Date with a Book! Stop by the
Friends Book Shop at Queset House (51 Main Street, North Easton) from Saturday,
February 7th through Saturday, February 14th between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm, where you can choose from our
selection of pre-wrapped books of different genres (clues to their contents are
provided). Surprise a loved one, or perhaps yourself! We also have a large collection of
gently used books in excellent condition for sale.

MEMBERSHIP & BENEFITS
Membership fees help support library activities and programs, and aid the library in purchasing items not included in its budget. Membership is tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Your membership entitles you to coupons for free books priced $3.00 and under from the Friends Book Shop, and early admission to our bi-annual book sales.
