Paws to Read

Anatolian shepherd, a large tan dog with black ears and snout, the dog's tongue is hanging out of his mouth.

Paws to Read is the ulti-mutt program for animal lovers! One Thursday each month, from 4:30 - 5:30 PM, Regan and her therapy dogs, Cali and Laddie, will be visiting the Library.

And what do her Anatolian Shepherds love more than anything else in the world (except maybe treats)? They adore being read to! Register in advance for a 15-minute session with a furry friend and practice your reading skills in front of a rapt, nonjudgmental audience. This program is for independent readers.

When your registration is complete, we'll email you with your exact appointment time. Keep an eye on your email in the following days. We'll be keeping to a tight schedule, so please arrive 5-10 minutes early. Bring a book or two with you, or choose from our curated selection of picture and chapter books upon arrival at Queset House.

Fine-Print: These reading sessions are very pup-ular! Registration required and will open two weeks in advance. Spots are limited and we want to extend this opportunity to as many families as possible. For this reason, we have a strict cancellation policy. Barring an emergency, if you miss an appointment, your future registration access will be restricted. Thank you for your cooperation.

To sign up, find the “Register” tab below the program name on this page. If none can be found, select the link for the specific date below, then look for the “Register” tab.
