Summer Lego Tournament: Fun in the Sun!

Help us "build" a new tradition! Each season, patrons of the Ames Free Library will battle for bragging rights (and a golden trophy) at a themed Lego tournament.

Our prompt this summer is "Fun in the Sun!" Which activities are YOU most excited for this summer? Use your plans as inspiration for your creation. The coolest (or hottest) build will be awarded a trophy. All participants will receive a custom certificate.

Rules & Restrictions:

Space is limited and registration is required. You can sign-up starting on Thursday, June 6 at 2:00 PM. Find the "Register" tab below the program name on this page. If none can be found, select the link for the specific date below, then look for the "Register" tab.

Please register ONCE (under one person's name) for your entire group. Teams may include up to six builders (including adults, who are welcome to participate in a supporting role); they must include at least one child under the age of 12. This program is designed to be fun for the whole family but please exercise caution with children under the age of 4. Standard size Lego bricks will be used.
