***************************************** Are you an expert pumpkin carver? Are you a beginning carver with amazing ideas? We'll be judging your pumpkin carving skills at the Queset House on Friday, October 28. Bring your carved pumpkin entries to the Queset House on Wednesday, October 26 between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM, or on Thursday, October 27 between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. On Friday afternoon, we will select a winner from each of three categories: adults (18+), teens (12-18), and kids* (up to age 12). Entries will be judged on both creativity and execution. One winner from each category will receive a $5 gift card donated by Hilliard's. All pumpkins will be featured on our website and proudly displayed at the library's fundraiser events through the weekend. Please bring this entry form with your pumpkin. Print copies will be available if you forget this sheet. Entrants are responsible for providing their own pumpkins and tools.*We encourage responsible carving by our young patrons and we do expect adults to supervise and help! In order to submit an entry in the children's category, your child should create the design, and as much as possible, help with scooping out and carving using safe tools.
