Lighthouse Family Book Club

A cartoon sea otter hangs out on the beach and holds a fish while standing atop a stack of books; a striped red and white lighthouse rises in the background.

This summer, let Cynthia Rylant's Lighthouse Family series light up your life!

Wash up on the shores of Queset House every Thursday from 2:00 to 2:45 PM to discuss the books in order. Copies of each book will be available for pick-up at the Circulation Desk. Kids entering grades 1 through 3 and their families are invited to read in advance. Or, just drop in to hear a read-aloud of the first chapter and make a craft!

Every child who attends this program is eligible to receive one raffle ticket toward a World Wildlife Fund stuffed animal adoption through READsquared. Grown-ups are encouraged to stay and participate in the discussion (and help with any tricky crafty bits).
